Description of Structure:

I. Central Board

President :

  1. The President is the executive leader and is responsible for the implementation of resolutions, policies, and work programs made by the Congress of PERSILAT.
  2. The President shall be nominated by the Founding Members in the meeting of Founding Members at the Congress of PERSILAT. The nomination shall then be discussed and resolved by the Founding Members’ Meeting and announced in the Plenary Meeting of the PERSILAT Congress. The office tenure of the President is four (4) years.
  3. In carrying out his duties, the President shall be assisted by members of the Executive Board.
  4. If necessary, the President may assign one or more persons from any Founding Member country to perform special functions and tasks that are not yet covered by other Executive Board members or to perform functions and tasks intended to support the duties of the Executive Board.
  5. In case the President is permanently unable to carry out his duties, the Deputy President from the same country, or any other member of the Executive Board appointed by the President, shall manage the duties of the President until the end of his term.
  6. The President is accountable to the Meeting of the Founding Members at the Congress of PERSILAT.The chief executive of the federation.

Deputy Presidents (4) :

  1. The Deputy Presidents, consisting of four (4) persons respectively representing each Founding Member, shall be nominated by the Founding Members in a Meeting of Founding Members. The nomination shall be discussed by the Founding Members’ Meeting, and the result shall be announced in the Plenary Meeting of the PERSILAT Congress. The office tenure of the Deputy Presidents is four (4) years.
  2. The Deputy Presidents shall assist the President in carrying out the duties of the Central Board. The President shall determine the distribution of duties among the Deputy Presidents.
  3. The Deputy Presidents are accountable to the President.

Executive Chairman :

  1. Assists the President in carrying out his duties and is appointed by and accountable to the President.

Secretary General :

  1. The Secretary General is the principal organizer of administration and coordinator of technical activities of the Central Board (PERSILAT).
  2. In carrying out his duties, the Secretary General shall be assisted by one Assistant Secretary General, who is responsible for the technical management of PERSILAT administration.
  3. The Secretary General shall be nominated by the President elected in a Founding Members meeting and announced in the Plenary Meeting of the PERSILAT Congress. The Secretary General was determined in Phuket, Thailand, at the Eighth Congress of PERSILAT, dated January 15, 2015, and shall serve a tenure of four (4) years. The Secretary General should come from the same country as the elected President.
  4. The Secretary General is accountable to the President, whereas the Assistant Secretary General shall report to the Secretary General.
  5. In the event that the Secretary General is permanently unable to carry out his duties, the Assistant Secretary General shall assume the duties of the Secretary General until the end of his term.

Assistant Secretary General :

  1. Assists the Secretary General.

Treasurer :

  1. The financial affairs of PERSILAT shall be managed by one Treasurer designated by the President for a tenure of four (4) years.
  2. The Treasurer shall manage and explore sources of funds for the implementation of PERSILAT programs.
  3. In carrying out his duties, the Treasurer shall be assisted by one Assistant Treasurer.
  4. The Treasurer is accountable to the President, whereas the Assistant Treasurer shall be responsible to the Treasurer.

Assistant Treasurer :

  1. Assists the Treasurer.

Discipline Commission :

  1. The Discipline Commission shall be led by the Secretary General of PERSILAT, with the Secretaries General of the Founding Members as members. The Commission shall serve a tenure of four (4) years and is accountable to the President of PERSILAT.
  2. The task of the Discipline Commission is to enforce the discipline of the organization and to recommend penalties to be determined by the President for any disciplinary acts performed by any PERSILAT member, in accordance with the Discipline Regulation of PERSILAT.

II. Institutions (all reporting to the Executive Chairman)

Institution of Coaches :

  1. The Institution of Coach consists of one Chairman, one Secretary, and three Members representing all elements of the Founding Members.
  2. The Members of the Institution of Coach shall be nominated by the Founding Members for a tenure of four (4) years and are accountable to the President.
  3. The Institution of Coach shall be responsible for the implementation of rules and regulations for Coach as determined by the Congress of PERSILAT or the PERSILAT Technical Meeting. This includes organizing training and courses for coaches, increasing the quantity and improving the quality, as well as organizing and managing the coaches in every competition or similar activities at the international and regional levels.
  4. As a result of the training and selection process participated in by the National Coaches of PERSILAT members, the promotion to International Coach shall be determined by the President upon the recommendation of the Institution of Coach.
  5. In carrying out their duties, the Institution of Coach shall engage in cooperation with the Secretary General, the Department of Technical Affairs, and all Institutions of Coach of all PERSILAT members..

Institution of Referee-Juror :

  1. The Institution of Referee-Jury consists of one Chairman, one Secretary, and three Members representing all elements of the Founding Members.
  2. The Members of the Institution of Referee-Jury shall be nominated by the Founding Members for a tenure of four (4) years and are accountable to the President.
  3. The Institution of Referee-Jury shall be responsible for the implementation of rules and regulations for referees and juries as determined by the Congress of PERSILAT or the PERSILAT Technical Meeting. This includes organizing training and courses for referees and juries, increasing the quantity and improving the quality, as well as organizing and managing the referees and juries in every competition or similar activities at the international and regional levels.
  4. As a result of the training and selection process participated in by the National Referees and Juries of PERSILAT members, the promotion to International Referee-Jury shall be determined by the President upon the recommendation of the Institution of Referee-Jury.
  5. In carrying out their duties, the Institution of Referee-Jury shall engage in cooperation with the Secretary General, the Department of Technical Affairs, and all Institutions of Referee-Jury of all PERSILAT members..
